Santeria Church of Olodumare · Proposed church
Founding leadership and service
The church is being developed under Keith Lawrence Miller’s founding direction, with permanent founding-family seats and additional one-year voting positions in defined areas of service.
The intended permanent founding board
Keith Lawrence Miller intends to appoint Keith Lawrence Miller, Hazel Miller, Paris Miller, Ares Miller, and Genesis Vuitton as the permanent founding board. Each is intended to have full governing authority and one full board vote. Their founding attachment is eternal in the church’s identity; the proposed legal seats are intended to continue for their lifetimes.
The one-year service cycle applies to additional positions. It does not apply to the named founding family seats. No appointments are represented as completed by this planning announcement.
Protection against displacement
The proposed Constitution protects the named founding members against removal, demotion, loss of voting rights, abolition of their seats, or displacement through an amendment, merger, reorganization, or transfer of control, to the fullest extent governing law permits.
Changes affecting protected founding rights or governing control would require the written consent specified in the Constitution alongside all legally required approvals. These proposed protections are intended to remain as the institution grows, including international expansion.
Legal status of the proposed seats
The church’s jurisdiction, formation instruments, individual eligibility, and lawful appointment process remain to be established. The permanence and nonremoval provisions express the founder’s intended structure; their legal enforceability is not yet verified. Mandatory law, age qualifications, fiduciary duties, and binding court authority continue to apply.
Founding identity will be preserved while any person’s eligibility for legal office is resolved. Family status does not itself confer a religious qualification or ownership of charitable assets.
Proposed one-year voting openings
Treasurer and Finance Director: budgets, financial records, monthly close, and coordination with independent review.
Secretary and Governance Director: notices, minutes, disclosures, decisions, term records, and nominations.
Membership and Community Director: orientation, member services, communications, volunteers, and feedback.
Events and Broadcasting Director: calendar, submissions, permissions, production, and broadcast records.
These four assignments are a proposed starting set. The number of seats, selection method, qualifications, and actual term dates will be adopted before vacancies are formally opened. A person receives a full board vote only when lawfully seated as a voting director.
How the reporting structure will work
The board will set priorities, budgets, and policy. The chair will coordinate delivery of board decisions. Finance, governance, membership, and events leads will report through the chair and provide a short weekly update. The secretary will track decisions, owners, and due dates. Volunteers will report to the lead responsible for their assignment.
Qualified religious leadership will guide doctrine, ritual practice, religious education, and the portions of events suitable for public or member broadcasting. Financial review and conflict controls will apply to both founding and additional directors.
