Religious Guidance practice

Refund and cancellation policy.

The applicable terms are shown before payment and depend on whether a service is a consultation, scheduled appointment, ceremony, custom-prepared religious object, deposit, or physical preparation. Last updated August 21, 2026.

Before payment

Review the service description, price, format, eligibility requirements, location region, and cancellation terms before paying. Contact the practice before checkout if any material term is unclear.

For screened ceremonies, payment is requested only after the inquiry is reviewed and the next step is approved. Kariocha remains private inquiry only and has no direct website checkout.

Consultations not yet performed

A cancellation request submitted before work begins may be eligible for refund, less any clearly disclosed nonrefundable processing or preparation amount permitted by applicable law.

Once a written consultation or divination has begun, or once written guidance has been delivered, the performed portion is not ordinarily refundable. This does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Scheduled calls and appointments

Rescheduling should be requested at least 24 hours before the confirmed appointment when reasonably possible. Late arrival may shorten the available appointment time so that later commitments are not disrupted.

A missed appointment or late cancellation may be nonrefundable when time was reserved and the policy was disclosed before payment. Emergencies and exceptional circumstances may be reviewed individually.

Ceremony deposits and preparation

Ceremony deposits may become nonrefundable after materials are purchased, custom work begins, religious items are prepared, travel or location commitments are made, or other disclosed expenses are incurred.

Before payment, the customer should receive a written explanation of the deposit amount, what it reserves, when it becomes nonrefundable, any remaining balance, and the cancellation or rescheduling terms.

Custom Elekes and religious objects

Customized Elekes and individually prepared religious objects cannot ordinarily be returned or resold after construction or preparation begins. Defects, damage in transit, or a failure to provide the agreed item or service are reviewed separately.

Sacred objects should not be mailed back without prior instructions. Contact the practice first so that handling can be addressed respectfully and safely.

My Ashe preparations and shipping

My Ashe baths and floor washes are prepared to order. Shipping or cold-shipping charges are not included in the Stripe product price and are confirmed separately before fulfillment. If the customer does not accept the shipping charge before preparation begins, the product payment may be canceled and returned to the original payment method.

Once preparation begins, a purpose-specific physical preparation cannot ordinarily be returned or resold. Report damaged, leaking, spoiled, missing, or materially incorrect shipments promptly with the order reference and clear photographs when available. Lost-package and carrier claims will be handled under the shipping terms confirmed for the order.

Refund method and payment disputes

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through the payment processor. Processing time is controlled in part by the payment network and financial institution.

Contact the practice first about a billing or fulfillment problem so the record can be reviewed. Nothing in this policy removes lawful chargeback or consumer-protection rights, and fraudulent disputes may be contested with accurate transaction and fulfillment records.

Education Membership trial and cancellation

Monthly Education Membership is $19 and annual Education Membership is $182.40. Both begin with seven days at no charge; the first subscription payment is scheduled for day eight unless the membership is canceled before the trial ends. Stripe automatic tax collection is disabled by owner decision.

Members may cancel at any time through the authenticated Stripe customer portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues through the current paid period. A failed recurring payment receives a seven-day access grace period; protected access locks after the grace period until payment is corrected.

Education Membership refunds

Subscription payments are not prorated or ordinarily refundable after processing. Refund review is available for duplicate charges, technical billing errors, a material failure to provide purchased access, or rights required by applicable law. Canceling during the no-charge trial prevents the first scheduled payment when completed before the trial deadline shown by Stripe.
