A living religion
Santería, also discussed as Regla de Ocha or Lucumí religion, is a living Afro-diasporic tradition shaped through Yoruba inheritances, Cuban history, family and religious lineages, and continuing communities.
It is not a single internet doctrine. Houses may share broad structures while differing in language, sequence, custom, and emphasis.
Begin with dignity
Responsible learning avoids reducing the religion to fear, magic, exotic imagery, or isolated ritual objects. It studies theology, ethics, community, history, prayer, divination, ceremony, and ordinary religious responsibility together.
